DIY support & refund terms
Effective September 28, 2026 · Purchase policy 2026-09-28.1. These terms apply to new DIY purchases. Existing course purchases retain their original commitments. On-site bookings receive separate agreed service terms before payment.
What $100 buys
Your personalized Attention Genie files, mega prompt and written setup instructions. You install and operate the workflow yourself on your Mac. Setup videos and illustrated walkthroughs are being added; they are not all available yet. DIY does not include a two-year update commitment, personal installation, calls, remote sessions, account configuration, ongoing troubleshooting or custom feature development. Your paid ChatGPT plan and third-party fees are separate.
Before buying
You need an Apple silicon Mac (M1 or newer), at least 16 GB memory and 100 GB free disk space, reliable internet, permission to install software, and a paid ChatGPT account with the desktop features required for local projects and computer use. You must enable computer use and the project/app permissions explained in setup. A work-managed Mac may need IT approval. Remote use requires the host Mac to be awake, online and running the app; restarts and locked sessions can require local intervention.
AI can read or change files and act in authorized apps and accounts. It can make mistakes. Work from copies of original media, review output before publishing, and learn how to stop a task or revoke access. Local files do not mean all processing stays local: AI and connected service providers process the content shared with them under their own policies.
First-video guarantee
Follow the supplied setup instructions and grant the required permissions on a supported machine. If the setup cannot produce a playable exported video, you can request a technical-failure refund. This is not a satisfaction guarantee, a promise of a particular editing style or production quality, or a promise of views, revenue or platform approval.
- Before onboarding starts: full refund of the amount paid. Onboarding starts when you first save an answer; simply signing in or opening the page does not count.
- After onboarding starts, compliant setup: full refund of the amount paid if the workflow cannot produce a video after you follow the supplied instructions.
- After onboarding starts, requirements not met: if the failure is because your Mac or enabled permissions do not meet the requirements you confirmed at checkout, $50 is deducted from the qualifying refund. The deduction never exceeds what you paid. A $100 purchase would return $50; a $50 purchase would return $0; a free purchase has no cash refund or added charge.
The deduction does not apply merely because you checked the requirements box. It applies when an unmet requirement causes the failure. A change of mind after starting onboarding, or disliking an otherwise working result, does not qualify under this policy. Any rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.
Request a refund or report a defect
Email taylor@attentiongenie.com from your purchase email. For a technical-failure claim, include your Mac model, memory, macOS version, the step that failed, and the error message or a screenshot with private information removed. Do not send passwords or API keys. We may ask for the setup check output or confirmation that a relevant documented step was followed. A paid support session is not required to request a refund.
We handle purchase/account-access problems, broken downloads, reproducible product defects and refund claims. This channel is not a personal installation or ongoing troubleshooting service. There is no live-support or response-time commitment. Refunds are reviewed against the purchase and saved onboarding record and returned to the original payment method when approved. The fee is a deduction from an eligible refund, never a separate charge.
